I manage a cluster of mail servers for a small ISP, and we get in the neighborhood of 1 to 2 million emails a day. It has become nearly impossible to filter out all the spam. When I adjust the filters to be more restrictive, people complain, when I make it more forgiving I get the same response. The type of spam these days has evolved so much it is technically superior to most if not all anti-spam solutions. Techniques such as heuristical poisoning and dual layer rasterized images (overlaying multiple images over each other where one is not significant but one over the other is to fool OCR's) have all but crushed anti-spam solutions. We need legislature to be passed to help in this fight, if not its a lost cause.

Back in my day I believe Hentai was the equivalent of "dirty old man" or pervert. Now I think it applies to manga or anime style porn. I would guess that the Asians mentioned in the spam would be wearing schoolgirl uniforms or would otherwise appear underage. It is difficult enough to keep up with English slang and idioms. Thank you Internet...

I think "Asian" became a dirty word shortly after "Adult" did.

I have an Asian friend who is very annoyed that she's a genre of pornography.
