Lately I have been listening to the very funny and musically amazing Unknown Hinson. This man could be "every woman's dream and every jealous husband's nightmare".

The song that I have been listening to repeatedly in the Honda Toaster is "Carmelita" by Warren Zevon. This song has been covered by everyone from Linda Ronstadt to G G Allin. Zevon's own version is my favorite.

The one song that I never get tired of has to be "Sweet Jane" by Lou Reed. It has a rare magic quality that makes it different each time I hear it. It too is played by many musicians but my favorite cover version has to be

Like you, I'd be hard pressed to name a *favorite* song, but after watching WALL-E, I couldn't get "It only takes a moment" out of my head for days. Now, in my post Jim Henson exhibit at the Smithsonian, "Mahna Mahna" has a special place in my head. (do-do dah do dodt, dodt do-dah doo.)

A song that rings in my head and has real resonance for me is "The Story" by Brandi Carlyle. Check it out, I think you'll like it.
